Humans exist wherever something can burn, breathe, or break. Among the stars, they are rarely the strongest, fastest, or longest-lived-but they are always present. Their boundless adaptability and willingness to compromise have allowed them to thrive in nearly every known environment, from orbital hives to dust-choked terraformers. On most starships, you’ll find at least one Human-often in the command chair, the medbay, or the mess hall, talking their way out of their last mistake. Humans follow all other rules as per the Dungeons and Dragons Player’s Handbook 2024.
Human Racial Traits:
- Environmental Preperations: Once per long rest, Humans may choose to prepare themselves for one environmental hazard (such as low gravity, thin atmosphere, or mild radiation). They gain advantage to saving throws against negative effects from their chozen hazard until their next long rest. The DM may rule that they lack the gear to create the proper preperations for a specific hazard.
- Radiation Sensitivity: Humans are more susceptible to cosmic radiation and solar flares. They suffer a -2 penalty to saving throws against Radiation-based effects.
